From the East
My Esteemed Brethren of Boca Delray Lodge No. 171,
We have a new roof! Thank you, W∴ Ferrari!
As we march forward into another month of Masonic work and fellowship, I am pleased to share with you some of the highlights and upcoming events that are shaping the life of our esteemed Boca Delray Lodge No. 171.
Our officers and committees convened in February for an exceedingly productive meeting. We laid out plans for several exciting events, including a First Responders Night—an evening dedicated to honoring the brave servicemen and women who safeguard our community. Additionally, we are organizing a visit to the Masonic Home, which promises to be an enriching experience for all who attend.
I am also delighted to announce that we will be conducting an Entered Apprentice Degree on Thursday, March 21, 2024. The preparations are in full swing, with our Degree Director, Brother Cohen, leading the training sessions with great expertise and enthusiasm. The team meets every Tuesday at 6 pm, and the progress they've made is nothing short of remarkable. For those interested in learning and participating in our degrees, I encourage you to reach out to Brother Cohen or simply attend the Tuesday practice sessions. Your involvement will not only contribute to the success of our degrees but will also enhance your Masonic journey.
As we continue our labors in the quarry, let us be reminded to square our actions, to be better men and Masons. Let us strive to circumscribe our passions, keeping within due bounds towards all. Harmony, both within the Lodge and in our daily lives, is the foundation upon which we build our Masonic edifice. As we move through this month, let's carry this spirit of unity and self-improvement, ensuring that every Brother feels the strength of our fraternal bonds.
Fraternally and sincerely,
Rafael Nioac de Salles

From the West
Greetings From The West Bretheren!
I hope all of you are well and have been enjoying some of the cooler weather that we have been experiencing. I don't have too much to bring from the West this month, but I'd like to post some links that can be helpful to all brothers.
I encourage everyone to just refresh themselves on our Masonic Etiquette https://www.grandlodgefl.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/GL-208-Masonic-Etiquette-Booklet-1.pdf
Below is our linktree with the important links about our lodge and Freemasonry
If there is anything I can do to help any brother or our lodge specifically, please reach out. Communication keeps our fraternity strong!

From the South
Greetings from the South Brethren!
Freemasonry is a progressive science. A Mason can only advance by taking every step. He must acquire and apply the knowledge available to him on each level and perfect his skills so that each stone designed for that Spiritual Building might be square, level and plumb.
Our Lodge is a wonderful place where Brothers who desire Ritual Work, Fellowship, Charitable Relief for those less fortunate, or Historical/Philosophical enlightenment can congregate. Nothing we have achieved thus far or will achieve in the future would be possible without the support we get from each and every member of this Lodge. I’m looking forward to the next Lodge meeting Brothers... God Bless you and your families.
Fraternally,
Eric Figueroa
Junior Warden

From the Secretary
Fraternal greetings, Brethren.
By the time you read this message our lodge building will have had a new roof installed.
Your Officers are constantly looking to protect our lodge assets and lower insurance costs while assuring that the building is in sound condition and look presentably. I thank them for their diligence.
It seems that the lodge is also projecting a substantial income this year on rental opportunities. The income can possibly be used as relief, charity, scholarship donations as well as investment opportunities.
I was Worshipful Master in 2009, at the time most of the officers were not too computer savvy with me leading the pack. Today our Brethren are more computer literate and have made vast improvements to our website, methods of remitting payments, renewing various licenses etc. and all online. With the increase in mail fraud, remitting payments electronically is a preferred and safer method.
Any Brother who has affiliated with an appendant body (Scottish Rite, York Rite, Shrine etc.) in the last three years please shoot me a quick email so that I can update your Masonic Profile with Grand Lodge. All I need to know is what the name of the appendant body is such a Valley of Lake Worth. I do not need to know any positions held. Mastermason33@gmail.com
Lastly Brethren, dues statements were mailed out mid-October 2023, please remit dues on a timely manner. It will only be a few months before late notices will be mailed out.
Sincerely and respectably,
R∴W∴ Mike Sinatra

Chaplain's Corner
Greetings Brethren!
A man was drinking with his father. As they talked about life and adulthood, the father said, “Never forget your brothers! They will become very important over time. No matter how much you love your wife or your children, you're going to need your brothers!” "Remember when I speak of your "(Brothers)," I mean ALL men who are attached to you."
“Sometimes you must contact them, perhaps go out with them, do things with them because someday you will need them!" The brother locked those words inside him. He kept in touch with his Brethren. Over the years he made many friends. Some came, some went, but over time he understood what his Father meant. The World, Time, Nature and Life presents their changes and mysteries in a mans life, but your true Brethren always remain. After all of the years that I have lived on this earth, I have learned that:
* Time goes by.
* Life happens.
* Children grow up.
* Distance separates.
* Passion decreases.
* The heart breaks.
* Our parents die.
* Favors are forgotten.
*Jobs come and go.
* Careers do end.
BUT...your Brethren are always there, no matter the distance between you. A Brother is never too far away to be reached. When you have to walk through a lonely valley and have to do it for yourself, the Brothers of your life will be around you, encourage you, pray for you, push you, intervene for you, and wait for you with open arms at the end of the road. They will walk by your side... or even carry your load.
Grandfathers, Fathers, Brothers, Grandsons, Nephews, Cousins, Uncles, Fathers-in-law, Brothers-in-Law, and Friends...They are all your "Brothers” and they are G-d’s blessing in life!
Send this on to the "Brethren” who continue to give meaning to your life. I just did.
Greetings my brethren.
